British International School Gdansk (BISG) is a successful international school providing quality education to children from the ages of 2,5 to 16 through the medium of the English language.
We offer a dual curriculum using the British system as a framework, modified to suit the needs of our international intake as well as the Polish Curriculum. Our students represent over 40 different nationalities.
British International School Gdańsk is looking for a maths teacher for elementary and secondary school. Start of employment: September 2024.
The main duties are:
- teaching and supervising students in classes 1-3 of high school and a few lessons in primary school (to be discussed),
- preparing all necessary school documentation,
- cooperating with other teachers and the school’s office
- being in contact with parents.
Requirements:
We are looking for fully bilingual candidates with a command of both English and Polish (language certificates are highly welcome). We require experience in teaching and a relevant teaching qualification in the subject (backed up by a diploma). We also expect minimal experience working with high school students (1-2 years). In addition, we are looking for someone who can work in a team, has the ability to engage and inspire students and build excellent relationships.
