I am passionate about my work as it allows me to accompany young learners on their educational journeys. Supporting their development is a deeply rewarding experience.
Donald Kitson is originally from Canada where he received his BA in Theatre Studies from Acadia University. He also obtained a BA in education while studying in the United States at the University of Maine at Presque Isle. In between, he spent a year teaching English as an additional language in South Korea. He taught English in Canada, where he also directed several theatre productions including musicals and Shakespeare plays. Before moving to Poland, he received a TEFL and CELTA certification. Most recently, he’s been teaching English in Poland, first in Radom and then in Krakow. In his free time, he enjoys going for walks with his dog Remus Lupin Kitson, reading (everything from Vonnugut and Hemingway to Batman comics) and exploring Europe with his wife, Agata.
I truly enjoy working in an international environment, where I have a unique chance to meet people from many different countries, cultures and backgrounds.
Working at BISG allows me to fulfill my long-held dream of becoming a teacher in an inspiring and supportive environment. I cherish the vibrant atmosphere of the school and the freedom it provides to explore innovative teaching methods and strategies. I am passionate about working with children, and being part of an international community enriches my love for teaching and connecting with diverse perspectives.
In my work I particularly value contact with people, both young and adults 🙂 Being in an international community gives me the opportunity to learn about the customs and culture of people from other countries.
BISG is more than an international British school: it is a community that promotes the most intrinsic values of human beings, such as empathy, generosity, respect, responsibility or creativity. I am proud to be part of a school where the dedication of both academic and non-academic staff leaves a lasting, positive impact on students’ growth. BISG provides a safe and nurturing environment where students feel empowered to express their ideas, conquer their fears, and build self-confidence. Beyond academic knowledge, I believe the school equips students with practical skills and a resilient mindset, preparing them to face real-world challenges.
I graduated from the faculty of Roman Philology and I am also a sworn translator in French. I started my adventure with teaching French as a foreign language directly after my studies and I have been a member of the BISG community since 2017. I am a dedicated teacher who loves to share her passion for France and its culture with her students. Personally I am a big fan of French comedies and French music.
I have worked at BISG for about ten years now, both as a class teacher and as vice director. Of all the schools I have been a part of (including three schools in central London) BISG is by far one of the happiest and most satisfying places that I have worked in - great children, supportive staff, great team!
As a Student Admission Administrator, I take great satisfaction in introducing the School offer to the prospective students and their parents and guiding them through the admission process. Every day my role offers me opportunities for direct interaction with people from different cultures and backgrounds. In my other role as an Office Administrator, I enjoy organizing school events and being a point of contact for students, parents, staff and counterparties, facilitating effective communication within the school community.
Working at BISG as a receptionist gives me a lot of satisfaction because it offers a unique atmosphere that is hard to find in other workplaces. Every day I have the opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds - teachers, students and parents. This makes every day different and full of challenges. This job also gives me the feeling that I am part of something bigger - I support students in their daily school life, contributing to their development and success. It is very motivating and makes me feel appreciated in my role.
I love working at BISG because it affords me with the privileged position of being part of a vibrant international community. There isn't a day that passes when I don't count my lucky stars that I get to do this every day.
I like my job because it is different every day. I have the opportunity to meet people from all over the world and work in a challenging, diverse environment.
BISG represents a melting pot of cultures, languages, world views. I love working here!
At BISG, no two days are the same - each brings dynamic challenges and opportunities to grow in a truly engaging environment that inspires creativity, collaboration, and a passion for teaching.
As a dedicated teacher in BISG, where I enjoy working in a diverse environment that promotes cultural exchange. I love creating content for social media and sharing my experiences . I am currently writing a children's book in Azerbaijani to inspire young readers through engaging stories.
