Our Curriculum

In Classes 1-3, we follow the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), which aligns with the English National Curriculum for Key Stages 1 and 2. The IPC uses an inquiry-based approach to learning, emphasizing creativity and thematic teaching. It encourages students to research and explore topics that genuinely interest them. Learning in Classes 1-3 is objectives-led and taught thematically. In line with the IPC philosophy, our teachers design lessons that are interconnected, allowing students to make meaningful connections across subjects.

At BISG, we match the best of British education with the requirements of the Polish podstawa programowa (core curriculum).

Our students receive a solid foundation as international primary students studying in Poland. English is the medium of instruction across the school. However, all students learn also Polish.

The teaching and learning of English and Polish are differentiated in order to cater for the different ability levels of our learners.

Modern Foreign Language

At BISG, we understand the importance of multilingualism as a gateway to success on an international stage and so, even though English is our primary language for teaching, we highly value the first languages of our students as well as other languages they will acquire with us.

All students learn Polish alongside one of the three other languages offered: Spanish, French and German.
