Class 8 exam 2027
The eighth-grade exam (egzamin ósmoklasisty) is a compulsory state examination taken by all Grade 8 students. It covers three subjects: Polish, mathematics and a modern foreign language. It is not possible to “fail” the exam, as there is no pass mark. However, sitting the exam is a requirement for completing primary school, and the results are taken into account in admissions to secondary schools.
In the 2026/2027 school year, the exam will take place on:
- 10 May 2027 – Polish
- 11 May 2027 – mathematics
- 12 May 2027 – modern foreign language
The results will be announced on 6 July 2027.
